An opportunity has arisen for the Isle of Anglesey County Council to build affordable housing in Rhosybol. We are seeking expressions of interest from local people in buying 2 or 3 bedroom houses or, in a shared equity scheme. 5 houses are available, plots 2, 3, 4, 9 and 10.

2 and 3 bed houses are available through a shared equity scheme or for first time buyers.

The houses consist of a hallway which leads to a living room, kitchen and shower room. There are two or three bedrooms together with a bathroom located on the first floor.

Outside, there is a garden and parking space for two cars.

Affordable price: £ to be agreed, (70% market price)

The property is freehold.

To qualify, you will need to meet the local connection criteria for affordable housing as follows:

Priority 1: you have lived or worked for 5 continuous years prior to the occupation of the affordable property in the community of Rhosybol.

Priority 2: If no designated Person is identified as specified in Priority 1, the criteria will extend to Amlwch, Cemaes, Penysarn, Llannerchymedd.

Priority 3: Where there is no designated Person identified as in Priority 1 and 2, residential and work criteria will extend to the whole of the Isle of Anglesey.

* The Isle of Anglesey County Council reserves the right not to proceed with the scheme if there is no sufficient interest or the scheme is not viable.
