To have lived continuously for 3 years, or be continuously employed for 5 years in the Community area of Connah’s Quay( Wepre, Golftyn, Central and South),Sealand, Shotton West, Northop Hall, Ewloe, Aston, and Flint/Oakenholt immediately prior to the proposed occupation of the affordable property, or have a strong local connection to the Community, by way of having a spouse, parent, brother, sister, child, grandparent or grandchild who is resident in the Community and who has been resident there for a minimum of 5 continuous years.
Priority 2: 17/08/2019 - 14/09/2019
If no person qualifies in Priority 1 or 2, the qualifying criteria is extended to the whole of Flintshire, qualifying criteria as noted above.
Priority 3: 15/09/2019 - 08/11/2019
If no person qualifies in Priority 1 or the qualifying criteria is extended to a radius of 30 miles within Wales, i.e. to Counties of Denbighshire and Wrexham, qualifying criteria as noted above
You will be required to sign a Legal Charge which is a legal document that secures the 30% equity. Flintshire County Council will charge a fee of £300 for preparing this document.
