iii) a person who has worked continuously in Rhyl Community Council area for at least 5 years or retired from work in Rhyl Community Council area within the last 2 years following continuous work in the locality for at least 5 years.

iv) a person who has vacated tied accommodation as their principal residence and which has lived or worked in the Rhyl Community Council area for a minimum of 5 years.

v) a person who is a Key Worker who works in the Rhyl Community Council area and wishes to live in the locality – no qualifying period is necessary.

vi) a person who is moving into the area to look after a close relative who qualifies within (i) above.

Priority 2 (16/11/2023 – 14/12/2023)

If on notification of a vacancy no Local Resident who fits into Priority 1 above can be identified after a period of at least four weeks the requirements for residence or employment shall be extended to include Prestatyn, Rhuddlan, Dyserth, Bodelwyddan, St Asaph, Waen, Cwm, Cefn Meiriadog, Tremeirchion and Trefnant.

Priority 3 (15/12/2023 – 12/01/2024)

If on notification of a vacancy no Local Resident who fits into Priority 2 above can be identified after a period of at least four weeks the requirements for residence or employment shall be extended to a further 5 mile radius.
